Feminists of American History

Women's rights have been debated over for centuries. Several women since the 1700's have been leaders in the fight for women's rights. Three of the important activists are Susan B. Anthony, Abigail Adams, and Gloria Steinem. These three women represent the battles of women from the 1700's to the 1800's to the present. They make it easy to see how women have evolved and made a difference in our country. Their contributions to society have benefited every woman in America, and all three are symbols of equality and strength. Every woman in America is considered more equal to man because of these brave women. They are truly role models and are an inspiration to women of all races and classes, young and old everywhere.
